Barbecued Frankfurters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium onion
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 c. ketchup
    1/2 Tbsp. mustard
    1/2 Tbsp. chopped green pepper
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 lb. frankfurters
Preparation
    Brown onion and green pepper in butter.
    Add rest of ingredients except franks.
    Cook slowly for 20 minutes.
    Prick skins of franks with a fork; place in sauce, cover and cook slowly until heated thoroughly.
