Blondies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 3/4 c. sifted plain flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3 eggs
2/3 c. butter or oleo
1 pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 1/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. broken nuts
Preparation

Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
Melt shortening and add brown sugar, stir until well mixed and let cool.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well each time.
Add dry ingredients and mix well.
Stir in nuts and chocolate chips.
Pour into oblong pan (10 1/2 x 15 1/2 x 1-inch).
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes. When almost cool, cut into squares.
