Hawaiian Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. plain flour
    1 can sour cherries, drained
    1 c. nuts, chopped
    5 bananas, cut up
    1 large box strawberry jello
Preparation
    Mix pineapple, sugar and flour together; bring to a boil in saucepan.
    Add jello; remove mixture from heat.
    Add cherries and let cool.
    After the mixture has cooled, add the bananas and nuts. Pour into baked pie shells and chill.
    After pies have chilled for about an hour, top with whipped cream.
    Makes 3 pies.
