Cherry Chocolate Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (4 oz.) jar maraschino cherries
    1 (4 oz.) pkg. regular chocolate
    1 baked 9-inch pastry shell
    1 (2 oz.) pkg. dessert topping
    1/4 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Drain cherries; reserve juice and chop cherries.
    There should be 1/4 cup juice and 1/3 cup cherries.
    Prepare pudding mix according to package directions, using cherry juice and milk to make amount of liquid called for.
    Cool.
    Pour into cooled pastry shell.
    Chill.
