Five Layer Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter
    2 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 large carton Cool Whip
    8 oz. cream cheese, softened
    1 large pkg. chocolate instant pudding
    nuts and/or cherries (to garnish)
Preparation
    Melt butter in a 9 x 12-inch pan.
    Mix in flour and sugar. Bake at 350\u00b0 until brown.
    Cool.
