Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. corn syrup
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    heaping tsp. baking soda
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 bag raw peanuts
Preparation
    Mix corn syrup, sugar and vanilla.
    Cook and stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves.
    Add peanuts and cook over low heat until peanuts are brown.
    Remove from heat and add baking soda. Pour into buttered 9 x 11-inch pan.
    Cool.
    Break apart.
    (Cook approximately 5 minutes.)
