Creamed Onions - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sliced onions
    1/4 c. butter, melted
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. dried thyme
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Cook onions, covered, in a large amount of boiling, salted water until tender, 20 to 25 minutes.
    Drain.
