Mary'S Cherry Angel Treat - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. powdered sugar
    2 (6 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, soft
    1 large container Cool Whip
    1 angel food cake
    2 c. cherry pie filling
Preparation
    In large mixing bowl, gradually add powdered sugar to cream cheese.
    Beat until fluffy.
    Fold in whipped cream, add cake (broken in small pieces).
    Spread into large cake pan.
    Add cherries on top.
    Cover and chill at least 2 to 3 hours.
    Even better made the day before serving.
