Pineapple Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 oz.) vanilla pudding (instant)
    1 small can undrained pineapple (crushed)
    1 c. sugar
    1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    enough water to make paste
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1 small can evaporated milk
    2 graham cracker pie crusts
Preparation
    In a saucepan, heat pineapple with juice and sugar; bring to a boil.
    Remove from heat.
    Mix cornstarch paste to pineapple mixture.
    Cool until thick.
    Meanwhile, mix cream cheese until smooth; add evaporated milk and pudding powder.
    Mix until blended, mixture will be thick.
    Add Cool Whip and blend well. Then add pineapple mixture to pudding mixture; blend well.
    Pour into pie crust and chill until firm, about 3 hours.
