Creamy Mashed Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 lb. potatoes, pared
    2 tsp. salt
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese with chives, cubed
    4 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/2 tsp. garlic salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 c. heavy cream
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    paprika (optional)
Preparation
    Cook potatoes with 1 teaspoon salt in boiling water until tender.
    Drain.
    Mash potatoes until smooth; add cream cheese, 4 tablespoons butter, garlic salt, pepper and 1 teaspoon salt.
    Mix until smooth.
    Gradually add cream; mix well after each addition. Put in greased baking dish.
    (Bake at once or cover with foil and refrigerate overnight.)
    Dot top of potatoes with 2 tablespoons butter and sprinkle with paprika.
    Bake in 325\u00b0 oven 30 minutes. Increase heat to 375\u00b0 and bake 30 minutes more.
