Cream Cheese Loaf - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 c. all-purpose flour
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 envelope fast rising dry yeast
1 c. water
1 c. milk
2 Tbsp. butter
4 oz. cream cheese
1 egg yolk, mixed with 1 Tbsp. water
4 tsp. instant onion flakes
Preparation

Combine 3 1/2 cups flour, sugar, salt and yeast in a large bowl.
Stir.
Combine water, milk and butter in a small saucepan. Heat until warm.
Add to the flour mix.
Add cheese.
Beat at low speed until blended, then beat at medium speed for 2 to 3 minutes. Mix in 1 1/2 cups of remaining flour, 1/2 cup at a time.
Scrape sides while mixing.
Turn dough out on a lightly floured surface. Knead until smooth (about 15 to 20 minutes).
Shape into a ball. Place in a large oiled bowl, turning to bring the oiled side up. Cover with wax paper and a towel.
Let rise for 30 minutes. Grease 2 loaf pans.
