Heavenly Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    1/2 c. cold water
    2 egg whites
    1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cook sugar, syrup and water over medium flame until forms hard ball (252\u00b0).
    Beat egg whites while cooking and pour syrup over egg whites (stiff).
    Continue beating until thick enough to drop from spoon onto waxed paper.
    Add vanilla and nuts or coconut just before ready to drop (mixture will lose its shine when it is ready).
    Food coloring may be added if desired.
