Apple Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. cooking oil (Crisco)
    2 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. salt
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    2 tsp. vanilla
    3 large apples, cut in small pieces
    1 c. chopped pecans (optional)
Preparation
    Combine oil, sugar, eggs and salt and beat for 3 minutes at medium speed.
    Add flour, baking soda and vanilla.
    Fold in apples and pecans.
    Bake in tube pan that has been greased and floured. Bake about 1 hour and 20 minutes at 325\u00b0.
    Cool 20 minutes before removing from pan.
