Ingredients

1 1/3 c. cocoa
2 1/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/3 c. boiling water
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

In heavy saucepan, combine cocoa, sugar and salt.
Gradually stir in boiling water.
Stir over medium heat until smooth and slightly thickened, about 10 minutes.
Remove from heat; stir in vanilla.
Store in refrigerator in airtight jar.
