Caramel Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs, beaten
    1/2 c. white sugar *
    1 c. dark Karo syrup *
    1 c. pecans
    1/2 tsp. salt
    4 Tbsp. melted margarine
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 (8 or 9-inch) unbaked pie shell
Preparation
    *Or substitute 1/2 cup brown sugar and 1 cup light Karo for the white sugar and dark Karo.
