Uncooked Tomato Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. chopped ripe tomatoes
    2 large onions, chopped
    2 large green peppers, chopped
    1 medium hot pepper
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 Tbsp. mustard seed
    2 c. vinegar (white is best)
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. salt
Preparation
    Mix chopped tomatoes, onions, peppers, celery seed, and mustard seed.
    Add salt.
    Pour mixture into cheesecloth or colander, let drain overnight.
    Add sugar and vinegar.
    Put into sterilized jars and seal.
    Makes 4 pints.
    Will keep approximately 4 weeks, but it never lasts that long.
