Banana Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 c. mashed banana
1 1/4 c. self-rising flour
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 1/4 c. quick cooking oats (not instant)
1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In large bowl, combine butter, brown sugar, egg, vanilla, banana, flour and cinnamon. Mix until well blended. Stir in oats and pecans. Drop from teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet, spacing cookies about 2 inches apart. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until golden brown. Remove from pan immediately and cool on rack. Makes about 2 1/2 dozen.
