Smothered Beef With Carrots - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 lb. boneless stew meat
3 Tbsp. corn oil
1 1/2 cups carrots (peeled and sliced)
1 small onion (chopped)
1/4 c. water
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. red pepper
1/2 tsp. sugar
Preparation

Prepare sauce by combining 2/3 cup ketchup, 1 Tbsp. honey, 2 tsp. lemon juice and a dash of hot pepper sauce;
set aside. Grill or broil 2 to 2 1/2 pounds broiler-fryer pieces, brushing with sauce during the last 5 to 10 minutes of cooking time.
