Yeast Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 to 5 c. flour
2 c. buttermilk
2/3 c. shortening
2 tsp. baking powder
3 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
1 pkg. dry yeast
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients together.
Cut in shortening.
Add buttermilk.
After this is well mixed, add 1 package of dry yeast that has been dissolved in 1/4 cup warm water.
Mix well.
Cover and store in refrigerator.
Keep at least overnight before using.
