Escalloped Sweet Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 medium sweet potatoes, cooked
    4 medium apples, cored and sliced
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    4 Tbsp. butter or more
    4 Tbsp. water
Preparation
    Pare and slice potatoes.
    Use a wok or heavy iron skillet. Put layer of potatoes, then a layer of apple slices.
    Repeat layers of potatoes, apple, sugar and butter until finished.
    Add water.
    Cover tightly.
    Cook 30 to 60 minutes, until apples are soft and mushy.
