Lemon Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. water
1/3 c. cornstarch
3 egg yolks
3 Tbsp. butter
1/4 c. lemon juice
1 Tbsp. grated rind
Preparation

Mix sugar and cornstarch in saucepan.
Gradually stir in water.
Cook on medium heat.
Boil 1 minute slowly.
Stir in at least 1/2 the hot mixture into beaten egg yolks.
Then blend into the balance of hot mixture.
Boil 1 minutes longer, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat
and add butter, lemon juice and rind.
Pour into baked pie shell and cover with meringue.
