Refrigerated Bran Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. all-bran
    4 c. 100% Bran
    2 c. boiling water
    1 tsp. salt
    1 qt. buttermilk
    4 eggs
    5 c. flour
    5 tsp. soda
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. liquid shortening
Preparation
    Mix both brans and salt.
    Add boiling water; stir.
    Add buttermilk; stir.
    Allow to cool.
    Cream the sugar and shortening. Add eggs, one at a time.
    Next, add flour and soda.
    Finally, add the bran.
    This can be kept in refrigerator 4 to 6 weeks.
    (Note: Do not stir after taking from refrigerator to put in muffin tins.) Fill 2/3 full; bake at 375\u00b0 for 25 to 35 minutes.
