1 c. flour
1/4 c. packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 c. packed brown sugar
1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/3 c. flaked coconut
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation

Combine 1
cup\tflour
and
1/4
cup
brown sugar.
Add butter and mix thoroughly.
Press firmly into a 9-inch greased pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, beat eggs until thick. Gradually add 1 cup brown sugar.
Beat until light and fluffy. Mix
1/4 cup flour with baking powder.
Fold into egg mixture. Add
coconut
and
nuts.
Spread
over
baked crust. Bake 20 to 25 minutes longer.
Cool and cut into squares.
