Punch Bowl Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 yellow cake layers
    2 (6 oz.) pkg. vanilla instant pudding
    1 (16.4 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
    1 (1 lb. 4 oz.) can fruit cocktail
    1 can cherry pie filling
    2 c. chopped pecans
    2 (8 oz.) cartons whipped topping
    2 (6 oz.) pkg. frozen flaked coconut
Preparation
    Into a punch bowl, place one layer of the cake.
    Add one package of pudding mix, prepared by the directions on the package, half of the fruit cocktail, pineapple and pie filling, half of the nuts, one container of whipped topping and one package of coconut. Add second layer of cake and repeat all the layers, ending with coconut.
    Chill until serving time.
