Apple Crunch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    apples
    about 1/2 to 1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. white sugar
    1/2 c. butter
    3/4 c. flour
Preparation
    Pack firmly in a buttered baking dish, apples to a depth of 1 1/2-inches.
    Apples should be pared and coarsely chopped.
    Dot apples with cinnamon.
    Mix white sugar, butter and flour.
    This mixture will be crumbly.
    Sprinkle over apples.
    Bake 45 minutes in a moderate oven.
    Serve with ice cream or cream.
