Foolproof Pie Crust - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 cups white flour OR whole wheat flour
    1-3/4 cups vegetable shortening
    1 Tbsp sugar
    2 tsp salt
    1 Tbsp vinegar
    1 egg
    1/2 cup water
Preparation
    With fork mix together first four ingredients.
    In separate dish beat remaining ingredients; combine the two mixtures, stirring with fork until all ingredients are moistened.
    With hands, mold dough into a ball.
    Chill at least 15 minutes before rolling. Dough can be left in refrigerator up to two weeks or can be frozen. Makes five 9-inch shells.
