Apple Fluff Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. well-sweetened applesauce
    2 eggs
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 Tbsp. flour
    few grains salt
    1 pie crust
Preparation
    Combine applesauce, lemon juice, salt, flour and well beaten egg yolks.
    Cook over hot water until thick and smooth.
    Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
    Pour into pastry-lined pie pan.
    Bake at 425\u00b0
    until crust is brown and filling is firm.
