Festive Green Pea Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can green peas (16 oz.)
    5 slices fried crisp
    bacon, crumbled
    1/2 c. red onion
    1/4 c. shredded cheese (Cheddar)
    2 Tbsp. mayonnaise
    2 Tbsp. milk
    1 tsp. wine vinegar
    1/2 tsp. sweetener
    1 tsp. pimento
Preparation
    Drain peas.
    Add bacon, onion and cheese.
    Mix milk, mayonnaise, sugar, vinegar.
    Add to peas.
    Stir gently.
    Garnish with pimento.
    Serves 8 to 10.
    Good potluck dish.
    Can make ahead of time.
