Smoked Sausage - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 oz. hickory smoked barbecue sauce
8 oz. tomato sauce
1 large onion, chopped
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. celery flakes
1 tsp. green pepper flakes
1/2 tsp. ground bay leaves
1/2 tsp. chives
2 tsp. vegetable flakes
1/2 tsp. minced garlic
1 tsp. crushed red pepper
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
2 shakes Tabasco sauce
1/2 c. water
4 lb. Hillshire smoked sausage
Preparation

Mix all ingredients (except sausage) together in crock-pot. Cut sausage into thin slices and mix into sauce.
Cook about 15 minutes on high setting.
Turn off and let stand about 12 hours. Turn crock-pot on (low setting) about 3 hours before serving. Serves about 25 persons.
