Thumbprints - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. oleo
    1/3 c. sugar
    2 egg yolks
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. flour
    2 slightly beaten egg whites
    3/4 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Cream oleo and sugar.
    Add yolks and mix in vanilla and salt. Gradually add
    flour.
    Shape
    in
    balls
    and dip in egg whites, then in
    walnuts.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 5 minutes and push in center with
    thumb.
    Then\tbake
    another
    10 to 12 minutes. Cool and fill with frosting.
