Funnel Cakes The Amish Way - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 egg
2/3 c. milk
1 1/3 c. sifted flour
2 Tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. baking powder
Preparation

Beat eggs and add milk.
Sift flour, salt, sugar and baking powder.
Add egg and milk.
Beat until smooth.
Hold finger over bottom of funnel.
Pour some batter into hot deep oil (375\u00b0) swirling into circles, center to outer edge (3 inches round).
Fry until golden brown.
Drain on brown paper bags.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
