Chocolate Pecan Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. pecan halves
1 unbaked 9-inch pastry shell
3 (1 oz.) sq. semi-sweet chocolate
1/4 c. butter or margarine
1 c. light corn syrup
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
3 eggs, lightly beaten
Preparation

Place pecans in prepared pastry shell; set aside.
Combine chocolate and butter in a medium saucepan.
Cook over low heat until chocolate melts, stirring until smooth.
Remove from heat and add corn syrup and remaining ingredients, mixing well.
Pour mixture over pecans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until knife inserted 1-inch from edge comes out clean.
Yield:
One 9-inch pie.
