Never Fail Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. margarine
    1 (5 oz.) can evaporated milk
    1 c. marshmallow cream
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. peanut butter
Preparation
    Combine first 5 ingredients.
    Stir over low heat until well blended.
    Bring to a boil over moderate heat.
    Do not mistake air bubbles for boiling.
    Boil slowly, stirring constantly, for 5 minutes or soft ball stage.
    Remove from heat.
    Add peanut butter and vanilla.
    Turn into well buttered 9 x 9-inch pan and cool.
