Egg Custard Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 eggs
3 Tbsp. butter
1 1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. sugar
Preparation

Melt butter, add milk, and beat over fire until scalding. Beat eggs slightly.
Add sugar and vanilla.
Brush crust with unbeaten egg whites.
Add milk to mixture and stir.
Strain into 9-inch pie crust.
Bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
Turn control to 375\u00b0 and bake 10 minutes longer.
