Beer Batter Halibut - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 beer
2 c. commercial pancake mix
1 to 2 lb. halibut, cut into 1/2-inch chunks
Preparation

Open beer; pour into pancake mix until it is the proper consistency for batter.
Drink remainder of beer.
Deep fry batter dipped halibut chunks in hot oil.
Halibut should rise to the top of oil quickly or oil is not hot enough.
Do not overcook.
