Creamy Chicken - Rice Casserole - cooking recipe

1 (6 oz.) pkg. long grain and wild rice mix
3 to 4 c. chopped, cooked chicken
1 small onion, chopped
1 (2 oz.) jar diced pimento, drained
1 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen French-style green beans
1 (6 oz.) jar sliced mushrooms, drained
1 (8 oz.) can sliced water chestnuts, drained
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of celery soup (undiluted)
8 oz. sour cream
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Swiss/Fontina cheese
Preparation

Cook rice according to package directions. Combine rice and next 10 ingredients; spoon into a shallow 3-quart baking dish. Top with cheese. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until bubbly around edges. Yield: 6 to 8 servings.
