No Fail Meringue - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 cup water
    3 egg whites
    5 Tbsp. sugar
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Cook 2 tablespoons of sugar, cornstarch and water until clear. Cool and set aside.
    Beat egg whites, adding remaining 5 tablespoons of sugar gradually.
    Add salt and cooled cornstarch mixture to egg whites and beat well.
    Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes.
