Cheese Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large onion, chopped
3 Tbsp. unsalted butter
1/3 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. salt
pepper to taste
4 c. milk, scalded
2 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
2 Tbsp. tomato sauce
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
dash of Tabasco
Preparation

Saute onion in butter until golden.
Sprinkle with flour; add salt and pepper.
Stir and cook about 3 minutes.
Add hot milk slowly, stirring constantly.
Add cheese and stir until it melts. Simmer, covered, about 15 minutes.
Add tomato sauce and Tabasco sauce, then simmer 10 minutes.
