Cabbage And Beef Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    1/3 to 1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 celery stalks, chopped
    1 can (16 oz.) kidney beans, undrained
    1/2 medium head cabbage, chopped
    1 can (28 oz.) tomatoes, chopped
    2 beef bouillon cubes
    salt to taste
    parsley (optional)
Preparation
    In Dutch oven brown beef and onion.
    Add all other ingredients except parsley; bring to boil and simmer, covered, 1 hour.
    May garnish with parsley.
    This freezes well.
