Easy Beef Stew - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. lean beef, cut into cubes (round steak)
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. basil
pepper to taste
2 stalks celery, chopped
4 carrots, sliced
2 onions, sliced (not chopped)
3 potatoes, cubed
1 can tomato soup
1/2 soup can water
Preparation

Put raw, cubed beef into a 3-quart casserole.
(Do not brown.) Sprinkle with salt, pepper and basil. Top with celery, carrots, onions and potatoes. Combine tomato soup and water.
Pour over meat and vegetables.
Do not stir, leave in layers.
Cover tightly and bake for 3 hours at 300\u00b0.
