Coconut-Caramel No-Bake Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. Carnation milk
    1 c. sugar
    pinch of salt
    25 caramels
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. coconut
    2 c. instant oatmeal
Preparation
    Mix butter, milk, sugar and salt. Cook 3 to 5 minutes (on low), stirring. Remove. Add caramels. Return to heat until melted. Add vanilla. Add coconut and oatmeal. Mix well. Drop by tablespoons. Refrigerate until set. (Makes 4 1/2 dozen.)
