Conga Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 sticks margarine
    1 lb. pkg. light brown sugar
    2 3/4 c. sifted flour
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 eggs
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preparation
    Melt margarine and add sugar; cool slightly.
    Add eggs, one at a time; beat well.
    Add sifted dry ingredients, nuts and chocolate chips.
    Bake in a 10-inch square pan in 350\u00b0 oven for 30 to 40 minutes.
    Cool and cut into 2-inch square bars.
