Dumplings - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. plain flour
1/4 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. shortening
5 Tbsp. cold water
1 egg
Preparation
-
Blend flour, shortening and salt. Beat egg and add water and egg to flour mixture. Knead and roll out very thin. Cut into squares and drop in chicken broth.
