Texas Cabbage Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 lb. bulk sausage
    2 tomatoes, chopped or 1/2 can stewed tomatoes
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 small cabbage head
    1 tsp. sugar
Preparation
    In 10-inch skillet, brown sausage.
    Add onion and pepper. Saute and drain.
    Add cabbage and tomatoes.
    Cover and simmer over low heat until cabbage is tender.
    Serves 6.
