Christmas Salad(Yields 12 Servings) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. raspberry gelatin
    1 c. boiling water
    5 oz. fresh cranberries
    3/4 c. chopped celery
    1 small apple, chopped
    1 medium orange, chopped
    1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    1/3 c. chopped pecans
    1/4 c. sugar
Preparation
    Dissolve gelatin in 1 cup boiling water in bowl.
    Stir in 1 cup cold water.
    Chill until partially set; combine cranberries with a small amount of water in blender container; process at medium speed for several seconds or until chopped.
    Drain; combine with celery, apple, orange, pineapple, pecans and sugar in bowl and mix well.
    Fold in gelatin.
    Spoon into 9 x 13-inch dish. Chill until set.
    Serve as sauce with turkey or on lettuce leaves as salad.
