Crispy French Onion Rings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    2 Tbsp. salad oil
    1 egg white, unbeaten
    6 Tbsp. water
Preparation
    Mix flour, salt, milk, oil and egg white; beat until smooth. Add enough water to make a medium thin batter (about 6 tablespoons).
    Peel 2 to 3 large onions; slice about 1/4 inch thick and separate into rings.
    Dip rings into batter and drop in hot oil.
    This makes a lot of onion rings.
