Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. oleo
    1 c. packed brown sugar
    1/4 c. light corn syrup
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    3 qt. popped corn
Preparation
    Melt the
    butter;
    stir in sugar, syrup and salt.
    Stir constantly until
    mixture comes to a rolling boil.
    Boil for 5 minutes without
    stirring.
    Remove
    from heat and stir in soda and vanilla.
    Slowly
    pour
    mixture
    over
    popped corn and mix well. Turn into shallow baking pan.
    Bake for 45 minutes in a 250\u00b0 oven,
    stirring
    every 15 minutes.
    After cooling, break into small chunks or into individual kernels.
