Candied Apples - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 c. water
1 (6 oz.) pkg. red hots
2 or 3 sticks cinnamon
red food coloring
Preparation

Bring sugar, water and red hots to a boil.
Add cinnamon sticks and food coloring.
Drop peeled, quartered apples (preferably Jonathan) into boiling liquid.
Cook until tender. Enough syrup for about 10 or 12 apples.
