Vegetable Marinade - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Shoe Peg corn
    1 can English peas
    1 can French-style green beans
    1 onion, chopped
    1 small jar pimento
    1 c. grated carrots
    bell pepper
    1 c. celery, chopped
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. oil
    3/4 c. vinegar
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    In a boiler, bring to a boil sugar, oil, vinegar, salt and pepper.
    Cool.
    Add to drained vegetables.
    Marinate in refrigerator for several hours.
    Keeps well.
