Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    2 c. sugar
    4 unbeaten eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 tsp. lemon extract
    3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
    chopped nuts (if desired)
Preparation
    Place ingredients in large bowl and beat for 3 minutes.
    Add dry ingredients alternately with milk.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for one hour until done.
    Use loaf pan or tube pan.
